SHOWING THE ADVENTUROUS SIDE OF VOLVO CARS Volvos are safe. Everyone knows that. But there’s another side to Volvo Cars. A more adventurous side. It was this side of Volvo we wanted to explore with the launch of the new Volvo V90 Cross Country. To do this, we created a launch campaign around pioneering Swedish underwater photographer, Erik Börjeson.

Erik and Volvo Cars have a lot in common: they both love breaking boundaries and exploring new ground. They share an innovative approach to technology. And a desire to protect the world around them. It was the perfect match.

The launch campaign included: Film, a feature-length article for print and the web, social media posts and a presentation of the car’s features and benefits that was delivered live at each stopover on the 2017-18 edition of the Volvo Ocean Race.
